Anyways, it's been a nice run. Without getting too in-depth, I've made friends with a lotta cool peeps, peeps I probably have no business even knowing. I even went to Seattle to witness the marriage of two forum members. How cool is that?
The pic above is from the Ace Hotel, where we stayed at in Seattle. One of my favorite pix, I think we were all a bit drunk and someone brilliantly came up with the idea of creating our own Polyphonic Spree album cover, sorta like this...

If you are interested in a solid girl groups collection, I highly recommend Growin' Up Too Fast or the seriously awesome (four disc set) One Kiss Can Lead To Another. Seriously, there's not a bad track between either set, unless you talk to Sharon, who hates Marsha Gee's Peanut Duck.
So anyways, to paraphrase The Angels; Thank you, Bowlie, and goodnight.
The Angels > Thank You and Goodnight

Nice song, thanks for that. Feels a bit sad to see bowlie going dark, but it had to happen sometime. In my relatively brief time there I mets tons of cool peeps, friendships which shall continue into the offline world... Any plans to visit LA soon? I'm toying with Labor Day weekend plans in SF...
No plans at the moment, but I could probably be talked into something. Rick mentioned he might be out there soon, I might be able to take a drive down the 5.
the final night i was in london, i saw that box set you mentioned in andy and annie's place and i remember remarking to andy that it's one of those box sets that i've seen in every bowlie home.. one of those things we all discovered together on the forum.. so, that song, my friend, is quite fitting indeed.. x
Bless. What a lovely post!! And I'll never forget taking that picture. We've got it in a frame here too. :-)
I dunno if Thom mentioned, but we're thinking of a trip your way around Easter time. I have to work things out holiday-wise but we'll see. :)
Quack, Quack.
