Bright and Vivid

Kathryn Calder - Bright and Vivid (2011)
This morning, I put on Kathryn Calder's Bright and Vivid (2011). I saw her play Hotel Utah about 6 years ago, when she was touring for her self-titled third album, and picked up a copy of Bright and Vivid. It's an absolute gem of a pop album. I love her voice, it's so clear and it kinda soars above the instruments, and sometimes weaves through them. I also like how she acknowledges the darkness in life, but is still hopeful or optimistic. Very worth your time, in my estimation; all three of her albums are, really. Listen to Bright and Vivid here, if you're interested.
