Standing in the sun, idiot savant, something like a monument

This is one of my favorite King Crimson tracks. It's completely amusing to me, and I'm sure it amused the band as well, from the lyrics to the music. Like the line, "I'm a dinosaur, somebody is digging my bones", clearly refers to their age and the fact that people still listen to them. Musically, it sounds gigantic, like a dinosaur. The music plods and lumbers about, roars and gnashes its teeth. Fucking awesome. Check this on their 1995 album, Thrak, which features the "double trio". Two guitarists, two bassists, and two drummers. I saw them live that year, pretty astounding stuff.
